Managing Director – Ian Gibson has over 20 years experience as a Health and Safety Manager on some of Australia’s largest and most complex projects. Ian has worked extensively in Mining, Oil & Gas, Transport and Construction industries.
He is an award-winning risk management specialist and former recipient of NSW Workplace Manager of the Year.
Ian possesses significant experience in the critical review of safety systems, workplace inspections and compliance, critical incident investigations, behavioural-based safety, auditing, risk management and major hazard facilities.
Ian is a former senior manager in the Fire Service and has extensive experience, nationally and internationally in emergency management planning and service delivery.
Working Director – Joy is the Managing Partner of Enable Safety Solutions. She has gained extensive knowledge and experience in Occupational Health and Safety and Risk Management over the last 20 years.
Joy is an accredited Lead Auditor who possesses extensive experience managing multi-disciplined teams across geographically diverse organisations in Local Government, Mining, Energy, Building and Construction roles.
Her level of technical and legislative knowledge have seen her develop award-winning OHS management systems for multinational corporations and government departments including the development of the Auditing and Management Tools for the Department of Transport and Main Roads (Queensland) inspectorate and the development of SafePlan 3 for Queensland Local Government to assist in self-insurance.
Joy is an accredited OHS Lead Auditor/Certifier in ISO 9000, AS/NZS 4801, OHSAS 18001 for SAI Global and possesses detailed experience and expertise in the use of the National Self-Insurance Tool.
